Absolutely not! I never want anyone to feel pressured to carry a conversation. This time is for you. However, if you do want to, by all means chat away! The only talking I will initiate during your session is to check-in and communicate about pressure.

Therapeutic can be many different modalities depending on your goal. Deep tissue is specifically more pressure and really working into target areas.
I’d recommend booking therapeutic if you aren’t sure - and we can discuss what you need before your session.

Sometimes there will be a little soreness, but nothing should last past a couple days. A lot of people don’t think a massage is good unless they are in pain. That’s actually not true. If it does hurt, especially days later, talk to your therapist and go a bit lighter next time. Why do we want to avoid pain? Because the body tends to fight against us if we go too deep for you.
